Meet Onyx, our custom-built, 28-foot rigid inflatable boat (RIB), designed to deliver a safe, comfortable, and exciting experience while exploring the spectacular waters of Vancouver Island.

Recently extensively refitted, Onyx features brand-new twin Mercury SeaPro 200 HP engines, new Hypalon inflatable tubes, and upgraded marine electronics and navigation systems. These improvements provide exceptional performance, reliability, and enhanced safety on the water.

Built with a rugged aluminum hull and deep-V design, Onyx offers excellent stability, responsive handling, and the ability to navigate the diverse coastal conditions of the Discovery Islands and surrounding waterways.

Our advanced Garmin navigation and radar systems, combined with AIS vessel tracking and marine communications equipment, provide additional situational awareness and safety while operating in busy waterways or reduced visibility.

With small-group seating and an open-air design, Onyx offers guests an intimate connection with the marine environment, excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, and a great platform for photography.
